I love reading about Lee’s memories and her craziness. I grew up in the same small town and Lee’s mother was my teacher. I am several years older than Lee and though I knew her growing up, I never knew how crazy or how talented she was. I thoroughly enjoyed more of her memories. Keep them coming.

Real Life is More Humorous Than Fiction!

I enjoyed reading “She’s A Keeper – Compositions from a Southern Girl’s Classroom,” by Lee St John. This book was an easy, quick, and fun read that made me smile. Things that happen in true life are more hilarious than fictitious ones. I liked the story about the students at the University of Georgia who created a fictitious student among the 36,000 students over four years. They did a great job since the fictitious “Bulldog” earned a degree even though no real person went up to receive the actual diploma. Great stories and Lee St. John is a clever and witty writer. Enjoyed it!
